Reasons
Singaporeans hate PAP
SammyBoy forum
From TracyTan866
The PAP (Singapore’s kong-time ruling People’s
Action Party) is competent. SG is efficient and is a good
place to live in. Many foreigners think the PAP has done
well and don’t understand why Singaporeans hate the
PAP.
A mother maybe competent. A mother maybe beautiful. A mother
maybe a good provider for the child's material needs. But
her child may hate her. Her child wants her love, her care
and for her to be around when he in is pain.
A child doesn’t want his mother to be just competent,
doesn’t want her to be just beautiful, doesn’t
want her to be just efficient. A child wants a relationship
with his mother.
Likewise, Singaporeans want a government that is caring
and looks after the people. Singaporeans don’t want
the PAP to strive to look good, strives to make money.
The Singapore Government has billions of dollars but the
Singapore government doesn’t have a soul and lacks
compassion.
Singaporeans hate the PAP!
Lose
a terrorist, get promoted!

Amazing! Despite letting Mas Selamat crawl out a toilet
window to freedom, the top men in the Ministry of Home Affairs
will be promoted.
Police Commissioner, Khoo Boon Hui, and Ministry of Home
Affiars Permanent Secretary, Benny Lim, will both see a
significant jump to their already large paychecks on 1 April
2008.
Lim will be promoted to Superscale Admin Officer (SAO) Grade
4 while Khoo will be promoted to SAO Grade 5. Both will
make about a million bucks a year, if not more.
Is this evidence of Wong Kan Seng (Minister for Home Affairs)
shoring up his support within the Ministry - I'll pay you
to shut up?
Is this a reflection that our civil servants cannot be held
accountable?
No wonder the men in uniform are in no hurry to find Mas
Selamat.
Ridiculous
Youngsters making a scene in the train
Channel News Asia Forum

Date: 10th March 2008
A group of irresponsible tennagers were making a scene in
the MRT train during Peak hours. (6pm, East-West Line, heading
to Jurong East Interchange.)
One of them turns on loud speaker to play their music using
their mobile phone. Most of the people were annoyed, but
everyone kept quiet.
After a while, a china man speaks out. He confronted the
boys, asking them to switch off their loud speaker. They
refused! Instead of keeping their mouth shut, they started
mocking and critising him. The boys were not shameful at
all.
I am sure that every Singaporean who was in the train cabin
were embarrassed to see such incident.

Such behavour is unfortunately not unusual. The relentless
pursuit of material wealth and money in order to keep up
with ever increasing cost of living resulting in both parents
having very little or no time for home education at all.
Basic manners and courtesy are sorely missing in our younger
generations today. Our education system does not help as
the main focus is on results, excellent results that is
and nothing else.
We may have achieved the status of a first world country
in the economic sense, but sad to say the behavour of many
is even worst then those in third world countries.
Close
ranks to catch Mas Selamat
redbean
Paul Jacob in today's Straits Times talked about all the
noises in cyberspace and the call for heads to roll. Then
he concluded by saying that all must close ranks to capture
Mas Selamat.
He failed to understand why there are so much noise in the
first place. And many also failed to understand or refused
to understand why people are angry.
It all boils down to the two opposing principles and the
polarisation of the super talents on one side and the general
masses on the other.
I think people are really pissed off by all the harping
of how great super talents were and how much money they
must get for them to work and be committed to serve the
country. And many are just saying quietly, prove me your
worth, that they deserve the money paid. And any fiasco
will be waved around as a mockery of the super talent and
super pay ideology.
The more people praised the great super talents, and the
bigger is their insatiable appetite to be paid more, the
more intolerant will be of their mistakes. And outrageous
mistakes will naturally receive the full attention of the
disgrunted. The cyberspace will bury them with all their
mockeries and innuendoes.

Guys Are Eunuchs
From TracyTan866
Look at Anwar. Look at Lim Kit Siang. Look at Karpal Singh.
Look at Lim Guan Eng.
They are all professionals in Malaysia who were brave enough
to stand up to the Malaysian government.
The Malaysian government attempted to intimidate them by
throwing them in jail. They got b..ls. They fought. They
persevered. They are heroes of Malaysia.
In contrast look at Singapore guys. They only know how to
spout vulgarities here. They got no b..ls.
They do not dare to stand up against the Singapore govt.
They are eunuchs.
Look at Melanie Lee (Reuters correspondent in Singapore).
She dared to retort Lee Kuan Yew and that was a good one...
.. It took a Singapore gal to bring Nokia to its knees.
The gals seem to have more b..ls than Singapore guys.
Our hope for Singapore is for Singapore gals to be change
agents and change the political landscape.
Lately the chinks in the PAP armour are showing. They have
made many mistakes recently. They are not as fearsome and
infallible as thought by many singaporeans. The are equally
vulnerable, just like Malaysia's BN (ruling Barisan Nasional)
and UMNO (dominant Malay party).
Change is within sight!
